Snmp Web Browser

Welcome to the SNMP Web Browser.

SNMP Web Browser (SWB) is a web service to display SNMP tree in a pretty way. It allows:

• to hide(and show) part of the tree,
• to refresh all or part of the tree.

The user interface is split into 5 area. On top and in the bottom, there are descriptive header and footer. On left there a menu panel. The central area shows main information and control button. Just between this area and the footer, there's a status bar to display informative messages and errors.

Introduction

There's, on the left side, a menu containing 5 buttons. The first one, named "Help", shows a tab containing current information message. The second button, named "Browser", switches to the browser tab where the SNMP tree is drawn. Other buttons are linked to direct actions such as:

• the "Refresh" button which is used to update the all SNMP tree,
• the "Import" button which is used to import a SNMP tree from local file-system and display it,
• and the "Export" button which is used to export a SNMP tree to local file-system.

Clicking on a SNMP entry will hide or show corresponding subtree

Right-clicking on a SNMP entry will display an action menu with:

• "Show subtree" which will unwrap and show up the corresponding subtree,
• "Hide subtree" which will wrap and hide the corresponding subtree,
• and "Refresh subtree" which will refresh, unwrap and show up the corresponding subtree,
